  • In any hand holding a Jack, unless of course the hand is already a winner! – 4 to an open-ended Straight, 4 into a Flush or three into a Straight Flush or Royal Flush – refuse all cards only keeping the Jack
  • In any hand having only one card Jack or above, hold the single great card and refuse all other cards and redraw.
  • In any hand with one pair less than than Jacks, retain the pair and reject all other cards – unless the hand is 4 with a Straight or 4 with a Flush
  • In any hand holding a two-pair, keep both pair and refuse the odd-card.
  • In any hand holding three-of-a-kind keep the three-of-a-kind and refuse the other two cards.
  • In any hand having four to some Straight, maintain all 4 Straight cards and re-draw – unless the Straight draw isn’t open-ended and the hand is holding a Jack)
  • In any hand having 4 into a Flush, keep the four Flush – unless of course the hand holds three to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
