Video Poker is a favored game that can be wagered on in casinos all over the world, or in your house on your computer, through a web account. The game rules are absolutely simple and involve the player trying to achieve the best combination of cards possible in order to come away with cash. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the payout schedule can vary from game to game, so that discerning players are able to choose the most profitable ones every instance.

After the initial round has played out, the player can either decide to stay on and try to to maximize their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Additionally, some styles of the game allow the player an opportunity to increase their profits, in which situation another game is played. There are also differences among individual games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other varying aspects to increase playability.
